You may have noticed Beyond 2020 has been quiet. Both Renee and I realized we lack the bandwidth to continue organizing the unconference. I kept hoping, but it’s time to let go of this worthwhile experiment, which sparked many interesting conversations and connections. It was an utmost pleasure to meet you and all the wonderful people who participated. I hope to keep in touch.
Now Beyond 2020 is on permanent hiatus.
Unless you’d like to take over. I’m more than open to passing the torch on to someone with passion and capacity to coordinate the Beyond 2020 unconference. Email me by the end of March if you’re interested.
What’s next?
Both Renee and I continue to manage our respective businesses, Rose City Mortgage and Semiosis Communications.
For me, the project that came out of Beyond 2020 #2, “The Portland Bottom Line” collaborative book (on sale now at Lulu and Amazon), gave rise to a new venture, GoodBookery, which will soon be a place to publish collaborative books for the common good and which is currently under development.
If you were subscribed to the Beyond 2020 mailing list, I have removed you and you will no longer hear from us about Beyond 2020. Instead, I invite you to find Rose City Mortgage on Facebook or sign up for GoodBookery updates.
Sincerely,
Peter Korchnak
